The Ritchie Group of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty
My Real Estate career started because of my wife. She is a Real Estate Settlement Officer, and while attending real estate functions with her, I soon developed a network of friends across the real estate business. I was fascinated by the complexities and nuances of buying and selling homes, so I decided to try it out myself. When I first started in the business, my goal was to make some extra money, but then it naturally transitioned into a career for me.
The relationships with colleagues and clients are the most rewarding part of my job. I’ve developed friendships with a wide array of people who I would have never met outside of the real estate business. I also love how the real estate industry has allowed me to grow professionally, and has given me a constant educational experience over the past 15 years. My team has been awarded “ The President’s Circle Award”, for the last three years, which awards the top 5% of producing agents and teams nationwide.
As a REALTOR®, you are a jack-of-all-trades. The old saying goes, a jack-of-all-trades, is a master of none. This is why I started “The Ritchie Group”. I wanted to create a team that can specialize to become a master of their individual areas in the real estate industry. My team leans on each other’s strengths and specialties to address a client’s needs. With my team, you truly receive the full range of expertise, and exceptional customer service.
Outside of real estate, I enjoy a good round of golf and spending time with my seven grandkids. I am an avid motorcyclist; I grew up riding dirt bikes and motor cross and have made multiple trips to Canada with my dad on motorcycle. My wife and I have crossed the U.S. multiple times as well. I also serve as the tournament director for the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices regional golf tournament that benefits the Sunshine Kids Foundation. The Sunshine Kids mission is to improve the quality of life for children with cancer. I also run the golf tournament that benefits the Janie B. Geer nursing scholarship fund for nursing students who have an interest in community health.
I’ve spent most of my life in this region – growing up in southeastern Pennsylvania, living in York County, PA and Harford County, MD, and working most of my adult life in Maryland. I love calling this area home
